Time: Time For Words

TIME
Time for words
(By Vimal Kodai)

“An undeniable reason that comes from afar yet close to the heart, sets out for the urge to inquest what time is really about. It propels me to write about this theme. ‘What is time really?’ ‘How does it evolve around us?’ ‘How does it occur?’ ‘How does it exist?’ ‘How does it affect us?’ ‘How does it impact on our lives?’ ‘How does it heal?’ ‘And, how does it display its marvels?’”

"Time is an illusion! Is it really?"

In times for words, I find words to use in the plots that emerge from the ashes of the downsides of life - surpassing all and overriding everything.

Time flashes in the space around all creations.
Time flashes, time tells, time heals, time whispers… time…
Time flashes in the space surrounding us.
Time is light, time is darkness, time is reason and time is outcome.
Time flashes in the timeless space around us.

Time…

Time! What is it really about?

In the outermost galactic space of the universe, in this spacious space, in the cosmic manifestation that is existent, in the face of our planetary system, and in our global world—lots happen every day, lots have happened on numerous occasions, lots have occurred, lots have been faced, lots have been surmounted, lots have been resolved and lots more are yet to occur and to be encountered. Clearly, consciously and subconsciously, ‘Time’ is this existing vital and crucial portion of our humanly lives. It is a source of energy that is created as from the day of birth to the ending days following last breaths circumscribing the lives of all living entities. At times, ‘time’ is the persistent source of our daily humanly challenges as it encourages us to test our patience by questioning the obvious reasons of our human existence.

This timeless (or ‘time-full’) energy is one such energy that is unseen yet it is always present around us all. It keeps us going strong by allowing us to target the ticking clock as an adversary to face. It allows us to go the distance by acknowledging that life is about accessing knowledge and obtaining an education that is worthy of being fit for our human society. ‘Time’ attaches an importance to life as it brings light to an understanding that is beyond all destructive and constructive forces present in the universe. ‘Time’ is the precious tool that has no ties to bonding desires. ‘Time’ is the everlasting matter that is limitless, it is source-less, and it is infinite. It is present everywhere and nowhere. It has no enemies and it has no friends. It has no preys and no predators. It is immortal and it is the answer to all of our unanswered theories. It questions us. It tests us and it challenges us. It pushes us. It motivates us and it guides us. It does everything without us knowing anything or without even allowing us to question anything in any forms of ways. ‘Time’ is the only unique wonder that denies any forms of rewards or accreditation for its fulfilled tasks. It is airless, senseless and lifeless. Yet, it grants time to free air, free sense and free life. How it does it? Divine natures and divine beings have the true veridical answers to such a question.

Yugas and Ages - Epochs and Eras

Yugas and Ages

How have humans evolved throughout the passage of time?

~ By Vimal Kodai ~

Throughout the span of time, from the everlasting existences that have derived from divine creations, onto several universal forms that have shaped our human epochs—reside the notions of time and space. Time, which has an everlasting bond to the eternal universe, and, Space, which has an eternal bond to the infinity of time; each has been shaped to structure the timeless divine objectives of our galactic universe.

Born with the instinct that is limited, but thoroughly driven by senses and sensual attributes, the human mind and body have been shaped to endure lots of sufferings and several painful episodes throughout its existence. It has been created to face challenges that surpass the unseen and made to meet with the unmet. These unseen and unmet challenges are described as being prescribed by divine orders—divine beings, who are the controllers of human fates.

Humanity has evolved from the passing of several main epochs and eras that have existed from the beginning of time. Humans have existed and coexisted with this solemn objective of being progressive, prospective, successful and wise. Overall, this human race has had a definitive decline in being prospective and progressive as its ability to be truthful and sincere has been depleted by several wicked and demoniac forces tamed by sensual ideas and pleasurable desires.

Human evolution has faced several definitive periods of times and eras that have transcended into ages and epochs—lasting for tremendous amounts of years and millenniums. Each of which has transitioned into being called a Yuga (or, Age). The Western world has its notion of Age, based on the several metallic ores—namely known and called: the Stone, the Iron, the Bronze, and the Golden Ages, etc., the Western European empires which have even walked, invaded and conquered continents and countries around the globe; have also defined the other Ages as being called: Spiritual Age, Mental Age, Energy Age and Material Age. These have shown the equivalent meanings to the Yugas, as shown below.

Comparison and Contrast - Yugas and Ages

Prehistoric times, prehistory and human history have been the known historical periods to our recorded human recollections of events. Beyond those known events of our human history, are some unanswered questions that arise in the minds of humans; these are namely and these are mainly:

1.     How vast is the extent of time and space?
2.     To what extent does time and space expand?
3.     Who created time and space?
4.     What are the true physical components of time and space?
5.     How does time and space really influence our human existence?

Although such questions have been attempted to be answered with the assistance of theories and principles that have been studied by humans, no factual answers are accounted for to have been stated with in-depth accuracy.

Yugas which are composed of Satya Yuga, Treta Yuga, Dwapara Yuga and Kali Yuga—are the known relevant ages to our human existence. These portray the required needs and resourceful knowledge to propel our human survival to an obvious attainability. Such attainability are filled with the immense knowledge instructed by the Vedas, Upanishads, Mahabharata, Bhagavad-Gita and Ramayana.

Satya Yuga is the longest and lengthiest known Yuga.
Treta Yuga is the second least lengthy Yuga known to our human knowledge.
Dwapara Yuga is the third least lengthy Yuga known to humans.
Kali Yuga is the very least lengthy of all the four Yugas.

Kali Yuga is the only known Age where religious decline, moralistic declination, spiritual degeneration, technological growth, material gain, materialistic mindset and materialistic mentality are at its peak. Kali Yuga (or, Kal Yug) is known as the Material Age, Technological Age (or, Age of Technology); and it is also known as the darkest of all the four ages that have been portrayed by our human history.

Preserving Oneness of Humanity (By V.M Gopaul)

Preserving Oneness of Humanity
~ By V.M Gopaul ~

A Review and an Account of the book
By Vimal Kodai

While establishing an equilibrium to the diet of a deteriorating world, the writer of Preserving Oneness of Humanity looks for answers to questionable themes that are of high relevance; for instance: ‘discrimination’, ‘racism’, ‘disharmony’, ‘oppressive authority’, ‘political pressure’ and ‘political tension’, ‘violence’, ‘disharmony’, ‘disunity’, ‘state of unrest’, ‘disaccord’, ‘humanity’s disorientation’, ‘humanity’s unwanted thoughts and ideals’, ‘human disagreements’ and ‘human pessimism’. Preserving Oneness of Humanity, V.M Gopaul’s latest book shows how each of these prior themes impact on today’s general global state. As such, the author sets up the initial course of his book by using precise exemplary portions of human history, and by using his own personal ‘parcours’ to display the main worth behind his book’s message.

The several questions taken up in this latest book by V.M Gopaul are as follows:

1.     Is the message from each sacred scripture so different that one has to seek for different approaches while trying to restore one’s humanity and sanity?
2.     Why is there the need to have the idea of oneness among all of us?
3.     Does the idea of oneness appeal to each of us (humans)?
4.     Is being equal and is seeking equality so hard and so tough to keep in mind?
5.     Is harmony such a terrible or difficult task to work on?
6.     Is kindness and is showing mutual respect so uneasy to practice?
7.     Is the idea of being united so unique and so valuable that one cannot really find time to maintain it in one’s daily life?

Such questions have no unique answer(s) to them. In fact, these have several answerable answers to them. While the author attempts to debrief on each aspect of developing oneness and equality among each of us, he adopts a strategic way to creating an atmosphere firm and steady enough to capture the main objective(s) of the message he wants to deliver.

As he portrays that social tension is depleting global peace, he even states that social justice is having its grip on an indifferent and unhealthy society. The author shows how certain key figures with ‘supposedly’ leadership qualities detract the idea of being exemplary as most of the time, they are morally incorrect.

V.M Gopaul devotes time towards keeping his readers informed about the root of social injustice—leading to violence and racist acts. Convincingly, the writer shows that inside each human being lies an instinct which has both evil and good qualities. Thus, he goes back in time, back to our human history to explain how violence erupted many years ago. How its impact on today’s world has been big enough to prevent us from being carefree and ignorant about all of its occurrences.

The writer even writes about racism as he attempts to give replies to several questions; such as:

1.     How does racism originate itself?
2.     What is racism?
      3.     How does racism impact on our society?

The author states that racism does not arise from the minds of infants. It emerges from the way issues and facts are being addressed in the household environment. It is also born from certain unwanted ideas and unneeded thoughts that are being spread out by the immediate entourage of a young child when the latter is still at an early stage of growth. Certain ideologies and certain main philosophies that are being put in the minds of young children keep them dwelling on being ‘hateful’ and ‘racist’ towards other cultural groups or different skin-type races. However, the author states that certain ideologies have also been born from the beliefs instated by certain political and religious figures whose authoritative aptitudes, manipulative influences and brainwashing words develop wicked ideals with racist approaches towards other diverse ethnic group of individuals.

The author explains how DNA or the biological nature of our human ancestry affects our present state of reasoning. Thus, he relates on the source of hindrance and villainy which has englobed our world for a long time - going from our tribal groups to our civilization trends, from religious beliefs to our social divisions, and, from tribal conflicts to global wars.

Among other infiltrating filths that are present in our society, are gossips and ruthless words that resonate from ignorant minds and from ignorance-driven individuals who lack the true notions of being called humans. The author of Preserving Oneness of Humanity attributes other developmental rudeness and impoliteness of our society to the way words are being misinterpreted. He suggests that an adequate education and a formation with the right fruitful components results in better chances for individuals to display clear perceptions about the world—with an open-minded self, enlightening and prospective enough to go the distance optimistically.

Preserving Oneness of Humanity deterministically admits that the idea of ‘being forgiving without forgetting the pain caused’ is by all means possible. One simply needs to take away the burdened thoughts that are filled with negativities from the mind to thereby heal oneself from all the unwanted causal sufferings. Being accountable for one’s actions, being understanding, and having pure-minded beliefs are crucial to keeping one away from useless divisive thoughts about the communal society.  Being forgiving by lessening hateful beliefs on others are also worthy traits that create harmony in the society.

Preserving Oneness of Humanity is a book that can also be regarded as a worthy referring resource with guiding sets of knowledge to plunge oneself into. It has the right ingredients to enrich the mind of its readers with plenty of peaceful resolutions. Nevertheless, it critically analyzes several subjective views that are filled with contradictions and misleading interpretations. Past experiences gathered from the author’s personal journey, and analytical understandings from several historical events of our human history are the main tactical criteria used to make Preserving Oneness of Humanity a unique book to all those readers who have the aspiration for living a peaceful life—free from racism and disharmony.

LORD SHIVA

Lord Shiva
(Shiv Bhagwan)
~ An Analogic Briefing ~
By Vimal Kodai

LORD SHIVA - KNOWN AS 'NILKANTH' UPON THE SWALLOWING OF POISON WHICH CAME UP IN THE BEGINNING OF CREATIONS

AUM or 'OM'

The word ‘OM’ or ‘AUM’ is denoted from the three main sacred Supreme Beings who have the ultimate access to creations, to the sustenance, and to all destructive natures of our universe. An age-old but gratifying understanding of the word—‘AUM’ holds far more than an eternal acknowledgement of its great richness as its utmost universal essence to our humanly existence propels a cosmic vibe that is unmatched. This word ‘AUM’ is the first sound ever to have been resonated into our cosmic universe since the beginning of our cosmic creations. ‘AUM’ has echoed, and always resonates entirely as an emerging force with positive natures from all hearts and all souls who would use it for righteousness and rightful causes.

A.U.M’ signifies the following:

A’ – stands for the almighty Lord Brahma (creator of all creations and manifestations).

U’ – stands for Lord Vishnu ‘Vishnu Bhagwan’ (the everlasting knower, the Supreme Being, the omnipotent and omnipresent Lord whose sustaining capabilities surpass all, and He maintains all that has ever existed from the beginning of time, extending to infinity).

M’ – applies to the almighty Lord Shiva ‘Shiv Bhagwan’ (the everlasting time, the knower of all knowers, the acknowledger of all acknowledgements, the purifier of all the impure natures, the destroyer of all evil, the cause of destruction so that creations may find new dawns in an all new era, and, that dignity on the pathway to enlightenment is restored).

 Lord Shiva

Lord Shiva (or, Shiv Bhagwan) is the unborn and He is the always existing embodiment of eternal time, emerging from the forehead of Lord Vishnu. Lord Shiva is born as the unborn and his superiority supersedes all that has been deviated from the uncertainties. He controls the fate of all humankind as He blesses the most unwanted with the treasures of true knowledge while admitting the glory of selflessness and selfless virtues in the midst of the bosom of fate and destiny.

LORD SHIVA AND FAMILY

The 108 names of Lord Shiva each stand for significant causes—with blasting effects into the universe as each has a particular meaning to every single occurrences that manifests itself across the universe. Similarly, His 3 eyes which form part of His sacred embodiment portray great meanings to all living and non-living entities. His wife--Parvati, His sons (Ganesh and Kartikeya); are all major symbolisms of divine natures who manifest inside the hearts of those who sought out for purity and sanctity.

LORD SHIVA (SHIV BHAGWAN)

The Shiva Damru – The small two-headed drum belonging to Lord Shiva

The Shiva Damru symbolizes the everlasting universe’s expanding and collapsing abilities. It also signifies the heartbeat in every lifeform – going up and down, beating with a rhythm that is described as the beat of the Damru (or, Damaru). The Shiva Damru impacts on the activities that occur in our galactic universe as it shows stability to creations but havoc to certain required evil forces that are bound to face termination and destruction. The Shiva Damru—the Shiva Damaru, represents all sounds that resonate from the universe. It is a powerful form of energy generating from Lord Shiva’s Damru which by itself appears as an object that translates into the main cause of destruction of all living and non-living lifeforms existing in our universe.

THE SHIVA TANDAV (or, THE TANDAVA NRITTYA)

When the time of destruction is at its doorstep, Lord Shiva dances the cosmic dance known as the Tandava Nrittya when and where He uses His Damru, to express His anger—which in its own way explores the various sinful acts of all creations that are the resultant reasons for admitting the catastrophic ends of all lifeforms.

The Shiva Tattva - The Crescent Moon found over the forehead of Lord Shiva

The Crescent Moon (The Shiva Tattva) overcasting the frontal lobe of Lord Shiva is by itself a symbolic feature that caricatures the state of mindlessness and the state of mindfulness that is required by all living entities surviving in our universe. Being mindless and being mindful are both two extreme limits of the mind’s experience that walks all human lives as long as life is keeping this same human body going strong and steady.

1. Why be mindless when everything we do evolves around and rotates according to applicable principles resulting from mindful thinking and from mindful consciousness in every activity being performed?
2.   Why be mindful when all we do in every way possible leads to an unprecedented suffering that concludes with death and mortality?

The Shiva Tattva (The Crescent Moon found on the frontal lobe of Lord Shiva) signifies the state of mindlessness which by itself extends to infinity as per the immensity of the galactic universe that impacts our daily human existence. To be mindless or with ‘no mind’ certainly launches a lot of questions from the minds of humans whereby it raises an inexpressible authority that surpasses all sufferings ever encountered by mortals. Wisdom and the bliss of knowledge is born from this same unexpressive authority born from this Crescent Moon. Despite the fact that this Crescent Moon appears symbolically to denote the ‘mind’, this Shiva Tattva attributes to the immense wisdom acquired from beyond the mind. Thus, the mind is the medium which propels wise thinking to a stronghold state whereby this wisdom is by itself derived from somewhere beyond this ‘mind’.

Lord Shiva’s Maha Mantra

OM NAMAH SHIVAYAH” is one of the most powerful mantras ever to have derived from our universe. It symbolizes the following:

‘OM’ or ‘AUM’A - Brahma, U - Vishnu and M - Mahesh
‘NA’ – Earth
‘MA’ – Water
‘SHI’ – Fire
‘VA’ – Air
‘YA’ – Ether

‘OM’ stands for the sound of the universe. It is the sound of the universe. It is composed of three main alphabets and three resonating sounds beginning with ‘A’, then, ‘U’ and finally, ‘M’. Altogether, it combines to be pronounced as ‘AUM’ or ‘OM’.

‘Namah Shivayah’ are the two other words that follow in this Maha Mantra. These stand for the five major elements comprising of the building up of all lifeforms and creations (living and non-living); which are namely: Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether.
